1st Christmas

Mattingly had a busy 1st Christmas. Christmas Eve during the day was spent with Grandma Fitch; mom and dad were working. Then at night he went to his 2nd cousin's house with all the family. He was spoiled with lots of toys and some pjs. Then he did great sleeping in his pack n play and traveling home and then sleeping in his crib! Christmas morning he opened some presents from mom and dad and Santa and then it was off to Uncle Steve and Aunt Rachel's for some more family time where he got lots more toys! Then off to Grandma and Grandpa D's for a few more gifts and some dinner. Phew then it was home. Now it's time to organize all the presents.

Oh and Sunday Aunt Em, Uncle Eric, and cousin Eleanor come in to town!

First Snow

I brought Mattingly out in the snow for a quick minute. He didn't like getting all bundled up. Probably because he couldn't move. It was still snowing out so he got it on his face which he didn't really know what to do about. And yes those are plastic bags on his feet. What can I say he doesn't have any boots! haha Once I opened the door to come inside he smiled. Next year will be more exciting. I will FINALLY have someone to play in the snow with again! :) PS. He looks so chubby with all that stuff on and then so skinny in the bottom pic doesn't he? I love him!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving :)

Thanksgiving has come and gone. We went to my parent's house with my sister, niece and brother in law. It was cool to see Ella talking so much and how she interacted with Mattingly. Mattingly wore an outfit given to him by my bff Emily. :) So thoughtful! Thanks a bunch. So here are a few pictures of him.
PS. The orange onsie says little and has a turkey. And that's what I used to call him so it was a perfect shirt.

Teddy Bear Portraits

They came to daycare on Thursday for picture day. Mattingly was such a little ham. He smiled lots. I think I'm gonna have a hard time picking pictures out. I get 3 poses though so that's cool and I get a discount b/c I work at BH. Sweet. He had a few shots with out props and a few with a little puppy and some poinsettias. So cute. This time I will get them in a timely fashion! Dec.4th. And they will be lots cuter b/c he is actually smiling and sitting up this time!

Update

Mattingly is getting so big. He sits up wonderfully on his own now! He likes rocking back and forth which I found out Mark used to do as a kid too. (still does occasionally) He is rolling from belly to back quite frequently but hasn't gotten the hang of back to belly yet. He hates cereal is okay with veggies and loves pears. I have yet to try other fruits. He is more interested in what I am eating than his foods. His hands are in his mouth a lot and he loves making spitting noises and "kissing" noises. So cute. We have not managed to make him giggle since that one and only time though. Guess I'm not funny enough. haha I will have to work on that. He gets his pictures taken this Thurs at daycare and those shouldn't take as long to come in so I'm looking forward to that. The woman does a great job! Now I just have to find a cute outfit....
