Mattingly was getting ready for bed and of course ran away from me after taking his pants off. Well he found my boots and put them on. I thought it was funny especially when he tried walking so I took a picture. And another night getting into his pjs he was trying to take his shirt off by himself and it got stuck on his head so he was walking around with it on and I snapped a picture.
was at the beginning of Nov. at place called Timber Gyms where they have swing sets inside in which you can play on. They did a corny magic show and treasure and and fed them bagels with butter and juice for a snack. Mattingly enjoyed climbing on all the different swing sets and hanging from the rings the most. He didn't interact much with the other kids.
Mattingly was not a huge fan of wearing a costume but once I forced it on him he was fine. I took him trick or treating at the mall which was kind of a waste of time. I probably wouldn't do that again for a few more years. Then we visited Payton who was a ladybug. We weren't able to get a good picture of the two of them. Later that night we went to Mark's friend's house to go trick or treating with his 2 kids. It was chilly out but Mattingly was a trooper.
We went there yesterday. All THREE of us! It was an exciting time =) Mattingly went on a hayride, picked out pumpkins, jumped in corn, rode a tractor, got his face painted and stole my blueberry ice cream. We could have painted our pumpkins as well but we didn't want to.
the fish. Brittany bought Mattingly a beta fish. He really hasn't cared much about it until last night when we were carving pumpkins on the counter. He got it 2 weeks ago. Here's a picture of him talking to it and telling it to listen and stop moving.
My friend from New Zealand came to visit last week so we took lots of day trips around CT and one to NYC. Here are some of the pictures from the gorgeous weather we had. =) From top to bottom-Gillette Castle, Essex Steam Train and Boat, New York Bus tour, Harkness Park, Yale, Mark Twain House and outside Cheesecake Factory.
